This notice is for California residents and is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”). It explains, at or before the point of collection, what personal information we collect through samedaydentalimplantcenter.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have. It supplements our full Privacy Policy.
One important boundary: information in your clinical dental record is Protected Health Information governed by HIPAA and California’s Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, not the CCPA. This notice covers website, inquiry, and marketing information only. See Section 1 of our Privacy Policy for how we draw that line.
1. Notice at Collection
In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information below. We collect them directly from you (forms, quiz, calls, texts), automatically from your device (cookies and similar tools), and from our advertising and analytics partners.

Not used to infer characteristics and not disclosed to advertising platforms. | No | No |
We do not collect: Social Security or government ID numbers, financial account or payment card numbers through the Site, precise geolocation, biometric data, or the contents of mail/email/texts where we are not the intended recipient. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from consumers under 16, and we do not sell or share minors’ information.
Retention: We keep each category only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above — generally for the duration of our correspondence with you plus a reasonable period, or as required by law. Detailed criteria are in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
2. “Sale” and “Sharing”
We do not sell personal information for money. Like most practices that advertise online, we use Google and Meta measurement tools that California law may classify as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. The information involved is limited to identifiers and event data, as shown in the table above.
You may opt out at any time:
- Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” controls on our Your Privacy Choices page; or
- Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we honor it automatically as a valid opt-out for that browser.
3. Sensitive Personal Information
Health-related details you share through our forms and quiz are “sensitive personal information” under the CCPA. We use them only to respond to your inquiry, prepare for your consultation, and operate the Site — purposes permitted under CCPA regulations (11 CCR §7027(m)). We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you or for advertising. Should that ever change, we will first post a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link and honor it. You may also see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice for additional protections we apply to health-related inquiry data.
4. Your CCPA Rights
California residents have the right to:
- Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of recipients.
- Delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions (for example, records we must keep by law).
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale/sharing — direct us not to share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Limit sensitive personal information — direct us to restrict sensitive personal information to permitted purposes (as described in Section 3, this is already our standard practice).
- Portability — receive your information in a portable, readily usable format.
- Non-discrimination — we will never deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of care because you exercised a privacy right.
5. How to Exercise Your Rights
You (or your authorized agent) may submit a request by any of these methods:
- Online: the request options on Your Privacy Choices
- Email: info@bayareaimplantdentistry.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request”
- Phone: (510) 405-7352
What happens next:
- We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days (extendable once by 45 days with notice to you).
- Verification. To protect you, we match the details in your request (such as name, email, and phone number) against information we already hold. For requests to access specific pieces of information, we may ask for additional verification. We will only use verification information for that purpose.
- Authorized agents may submit requests with your signed permission; we may still contact you directly to confirm.
- Opt-out of sale/sharing requests do not require verification — we honor them as received.
- If we deny a request, we will explain why and how you may follow up.
Exercising these rights is always free, up to the limits set by law.
6. Shine the Light
California Civil Code §1798.83 lets California residents request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those parties’ own direct marketing. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
7. Notice of Financial Incentive
We do not currently offer financial incentives, loyalty programs, or price differences in exchange for personal information. Our free 3D scan and consultation is offered to all prospective patients on the same terms, regardless of privacy choices.
